Infos about the 2 radio servers and their 3 stations at T.S.A :

First steps with an Internet Radio based on Shoutcast were made in Tristar around 2002, at that time not on „own“ servers but on systems that were available „open“.

n 2007, the first server was purchased under Tristar for the first time. A short time later the Tristar Radio was running continuously on this server, which also gained some fame and attention in the „computer scene“. Bitfellas copied this concept which brought Tristar into the scene.

Radio Tristar ran until 2011 and was later taken over by T.S.A.

Unfortunately the web activities ended shortly after the foundation of T.S.A. on 15-09-2012 and the radio should disappear for more than 5 years.

At the end of 2018 the radio finally returned piece by piece within the new created services and was also immediately supplemented by a few hundred more hand-picked soundtracks.

By the way, the music comes from areas like the demoscene and retro games remixes.

Included are music tracks from Amiga, C-64, Atari and video game consoles. Mostly systems from 8 to 64 bit are taken into account or in other words. Most of the video game music is from the years 1980 to 2005.

In addition, it is also planned for the future to bring the best of „net-label“ and independent music to the 3rd channel.

Currently, of the 3 stations on the MAIN and RESERVE RADIO Server, only the 1st radio station is occupied with music from the DEMOSCENE , GAME REMIXES area. Station 2 and station 3 are ONLY technically available so far.

The radios run under the official name

TSA - Tristar - Dev-Lab

Whatever you hear now and in the future is MANUAL CHOOSEN !

Connect to the 2 radio servers and their 3 stations at T.S.A :

Connecting to the radio programs is relatively easy :

There is once the possibility to use one of our 2 stylish web players. Which web player you prefer is a matter of taste. The stream is sent over HTTPS using SSL / TSL encryption. ( This happens automatically in the background. )

Another way to access the stream directly via the web is to call the stream DIRECTLY. This should ALWAYS be possible via HTTP = WITHOUT encryption and ALTERNATIVE via HTTPS = WITH encryption. The whole thing will not look that stylish anymore, but it will work !

Finally, some „music playback programmes“ also offer the option of playing web radio streams and saving them as bookmarks. This also works with our radio stations.

Assuming you want to open the stream directly, you should first try the MAIN RADIO Server.

The following ports should also be available via SSL / TSL. The following SSL / TSL ports belong to the unsecured ports :

  1. PORT 8000 = 8020 ( TSL )
  2. PORT 8250 = 8270 ( TSL )
  3. PORT 8500 = 8520 ( TSL )

If the TSL ports are NOT accessible, the WEB RADIO players from T.S.A. will not work regularly. You can still try to connect directly to the stream via the UNSECURED ports.

Here are the 3 stations of the MAIN RADIO station.
