[Tristar Server News] - August 2008

The Linux Server Files where updated today ( 17. August 2008 )
The Plesk Administration System was updated today from 8.4 to 8.6

Problems :
Out of space in psa folder

Solution :
removed old update dirs - Version 8.2 and 8.3 to free some diskspace, after this - the updater was able to update all files for the 8.6 version.


Restarted...

Radio, Teamspeak, IRC-Network... ALL OK.

BACKUP from the FTP and SQL Files will be done following week.

SQL Backup done for :

tristar-whq.net ( denora sql databae ) stores informations about irc statistics
tristar-whq.org ( vbb-3 sql database ) stores all postings etc. from this forum
tristar-whq.org ( php-fusion ) stores all downloads and pictures from the web-base

Important information :

netacs and mercury-labs.org SQL databases where left from the Backup. if they wish to update also their databases then they should use phpmyadmin for databases smaller as 2GB or ask me or raver to perform an sql update for larger databases.

FTP Backup done for :

tristar-whq.org ( web enviroment )
tristar-whq.net ( web appz )
tristar-whq.com and .de ( re-linker )

ver-netzt de ( empty - for later use )

netacs.de ( domain from ramirez - net_work mani_acs )

mercury-labs.org ( domain from las and psykon )

Thats all =) - Server up to date and all corresponding data are stored on the backup system of our server. all sql databases are stored also on my local HDs.
