[ENG] - Tristar´s Entertainment System comes back to live

Hello Fellas,

The Radio Station, you know we where the one of the first ones that introduced Internet Radio in 2001 to the scene >:)

Since this time we´ve particular Radio transmission on various lended servers but now we got our own System and Radio will be a regular part from now on in tristar...

We don´t send the whole day mostly evening and at the weekend, particular moderated etc... and if you´ve wishes - then feel free and type us this. later on we will implement a little prog that shows you if the radio is online or not.

so far and here is the link but don´t forget, actually we play mostly evening and at the weekend.

and beside this we´ve also another little surprise... teamspeak is back, still not finally configurated in all areas but in general you can use it, later on we will set a passwort for this ( ask an admin then for pw )

you need teamspeak for this ( teamspeak is the freeware talk client )

yes it was a hard weekend, in multiple views.....

this server babe, suse-linux, exploring the wonderland of wrong installed software... and also some other things...

i visited also a funny hardrock location but more about this in another post.

here you can see my last work for this weekend, i used a php system that capture the informations from a radio ( shoutcast ) stream... ...but i was forced to write my own output routine to make it usable for the cms-system.

on the right side you will discover my part of "radio status" below the radio link. a tip >> if the radio web interface doesent work under it is a "direct link" to the stream.

sadly the port is used for server internals...

the port for radio is 5600
the port for teamspeak is 6000

hmm... can you free those ports ?

Beside Scene and Arts i noticed that our little... FAT =) babe don´t come´s to the razors edge with cpu and bandwith so i talked a bit with the other ones and decided to setup 2-3 games. the good old ( cpu low ) wolfenstein et... and if possible the nice counterstrike source´s ....

status : wolfenstein run´s well... installed within the basic maps.... more tomorrow enough pc for now

news : wolfenstein will come back end of this week =) i hope so.

...due some little probs within the installation, it´s not possible to make it run yet. but we solved the first test and it was playable... i will fix and teach myself how to get more maps etc. included into the game... stay tuned.
